Women in Business Conference - a Great Day!

Hey Ladies,

Thanks to all of you who joined us Friday for the Women in Business Conference.  It was a great day filled with inspiring speakers and many opportunities to network with other Charleston women in business.  We look forward to bringing some of the women in as guest speakers for our upcoming lunch & learns.  In talking with those MWV women who attended, we definitely felt it worth the time & investment and is an event we want to participate in again next year.

For those who were unable to attend the conference, a BIG thanks to you for holding down the fort so that others could attend.  Being able to send more than 15 people is truly a testament to the teamwork and pitching in that we do for each other.  I look forward to giving others the opportunity to attend next year.  Please talk with me or anyone else who attended if you want to hear more about the takeaways from the day.             

Did you know we are a Business Member of the Center for Women?  This is a wonderful Charleston-based organization that helps women succeed.  They have a wide array of programs aimed at professional, family, and financial betterment.  In fact, they sponsored the Women in Business Conference, which brought more than 315 women together.  Our membership allows 2 MWV employees to attend any of their events at the member price (number of attendees greater than 2 pay the non-member price, which is about $10 more/event).  Check out their website for upcoming events.  Grab another Network member & get involved!
